When trying to start a Virtual Machine (VM) in VirtualBox with Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Application and Device Control installed, the VM will not start and eventually times out. Additionally, when you try and restart the host machine, it hangs on shutting down. <\/p>\n

VirtualBox pops up a window saying Starting VM: Creating process for virtual machine “VMname” (GUI\/Qt)…(1\/2) and will either hang on this window or may eventually throw a time out error after approximately 10 minutes. <\/p>\n

Oracle has been hardening the security on the application VirtualBox. SEP Application and Device Control injects it’s DLL into all running processes which in turn conflicts with the hardened security in VirtualBox. Oracle is working to address the compatibility issues with many AV products caused by the hardening of VirtualBox. <\/p>\n

\u5275\u5efa\u4e00\u500b\u61c9\u7528\u7a0b\u5f0f\u63a7\u5236\u8cc7\u6599\u593e\u6392\u9664\u5728\u8cfd\u9580\u9435\u514b\u7aef\u9ede\u4fdd\u8b77\u7d93\u7406 (SEPM) \u76ee\u9304\uff0c\u548c\u5b83\u662f VirtualBox \u5b89\u88dd\u5230\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\u7684\u5b50\u8cc7\u6599\u593e\u3002\u9810\u8a2d\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e0b\u9019\u662f: C:\\Program Files\\Oracle\\VirtualBox\\\u3002
\u9019\u5c07\u5c0e\u81f4\u61c9\u7528\u7a0b\u5f0f\u548c\u8a2d\u5099\u63a7\u5236\u4e0d\u6ce8\u5165\u5f9e\u8a72\u76ee\u9304\u4e2d\u904b\u884c\u7684\u61c9\u7528\u7a0b\u5f0f\u6216\u5b50\u76ee\u9304\u3002 <\/p>\n

1) \u5728 SEPM \u53bb\u5206\u914d\u7d66\u53d7\u5f71\u97ff\u7684\u7528\u6236\u7aef\u662f\u5728\u7d44\u6392\u9664\u653f\u7b56\u4e26\u6253\u958b\u8981\u7de8\u8f2f\u5b83\u7684\u7b56\u7565 <\/p>\n

2) \u7de8\u8f2f\u4f8b\u5916\u653f\u7b56 <\/p>\n

3) \u6309\u4e00\u4e0b\u65b0\u589e-> Windows \u4f8b\u5916-> \u8cc7\u6599\u593e <\/p>\n

4) \u6307\u5b9a\u6392\u9664\u6b64\u8cc7\u6599\u593e\u7684\u6383\u63cf\u985e\u578b\u9078\u5b9a “\u61c9\u7528\u7a0b\u5f0f\u63a7\u5236\u7684\u985e\u578b” <\/p>\n

5) \u8a2d\u5b9a VirtualBox \u7684\u8def\u5f91\u5b89\u88dd\u8def\u5f91\uff0c\u9810\u8a2d\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e0b\u5b83\u662f C:\\Program Files\\Oracle\\VirtualBox\\\uff0c\u8acb\u4f9d\u7167\u5be6\u969b\u5b89\u88dd\u8def\u5f91\u4fee\u6539 <\/p>\n

6) \u52fe\u9078\u5305\u62ec\u5b50\u8cc7\u6599\u593e <\/p>\n
